Welcome to the Carnival of LinkedIn Bloggers!

What is a blog carnival?  It’s an event where different bloggers come together and collaborate on a particular topic.  The carnival usually follows a publishing schedule which may be weekly, monthly or quarterly.  The advantages to a blog carnival is that all the participants have an opportunity to benefit from increased traffic and backlinks which help increase search engine ranking.

Each edition of the carnival is either hosted by the same blog or may alternate among different hosts.  This carnival follows the latter format.  It was hosted in August by Dr. Sally Witt.  The carnival itself is written in the form of a blog article which contains a short summary with links to the complete articles.

So, without further ado, welcome to the September 10, 2008 Edition of The Carnival of LinkedIn Bloggers!
